FAQs

Although most minor illnesses can be treated at urgent care, some pets need significant medical attention (i.e. surgery) beyond our capacity. If this is the case, our team will triage and stabilize your cat or dog for a safe transfer to a specialist or nearby veterinary emergency hospital. It will be your responsibility to transport your pet, but we can provide any laboratory or diagnostic testing results to the specialist or emergency hospital prior to your arrival for expedited care.

Yes. When necessary, we will assist you in accessing additional medical services with specialists or nearby emergency hospitals who we trust to provide high-quality care for your pet.

Walk-In Care should be accessed for your pet’s non-life-threatening injuries or illnesses which require acute medical care during normal business hours, and your regular veterinarian is unavailable. We do not provide after-hours or overnight care. Seek immediate care for life-threatening or after-hours emergencies such as ingestion of poisons, visible broken bones, serious trauma requiring surgery, heart failure, kidney failure, unconsciousness, or difficulty breathing. If you are concerned your pet’s life is in danger, please go to the emergency hospital immediately.

We only provide walk-in care services for cats and dogs. If you have other pets, please contact your regular veterinarian or the emergency hospital.

At this time we are only taking walk-ins, no appointments. This enables us to see pets when the unexpected occurs, as well as allows our dedicated staff to be focused on the healthcare needs of those pets instead of answering the phone to schedule appointments. If you’d like a scheduled appointment for your pet’s injury or illness, please contact your regular veterinarian.
